My plastic bag ban

It's been around 2 years since I have stopped usage of single use plastic bags(on my part). It's quite bothersome and irritating even for me to carry a non plastic carrybag with me all the time. I mean, if you have the privilege of going anywhere empty-handed and be offered a carrying material for the stuff you buy, it's quite easy right? It saves our time, and the botheration of carrying something extra with you...

I do this not for praise, not to make a change. I do this as I know that it won't be any helpful to our earth that a single person is saving like 5 to 6 plastic bags in a week. I do this because it is none other's responsibility to save our planet from the destruction only we are causing. Not all of us can do everything that's good for environment, but we can AT LEAST do what we can. I cannot quit my bike and turn to public transportation for 'environment' but I CAN do this, and what we can do is what we should.

Family

Family, it's a matter that people are talking very lightly these days. Some people think family as a group of people they live with, some think of it as some people they have to feed and some don't even care of what family is. Some kids of my generation yell at their parents and insult them in front of everyone. Even some adults of my upper generation are unable to be a part of their own family, let alone be its head.  People usually think of their families as their weakness but its the complete opposite, it can be someone's biggest power and strongest shield if only there is trust, transparency and acceptance among the family.

Never spoke a word, just when you give something to her, she smiles. Infact, she's smiling most of the time, but her smile widens when you give her  something. It's not very often that i go there or come across this lady. But when I do, I Usually give her some money. Just to see that smile on her face. I always wonder that what's the story behind her, why she sits there, where is her family, is she alone? Today was one of the occasions when i encountered her, as I was approaching towards her, I saw a random car passing by. People sitting  in it were looking down on her as if she was something unnecessary and unwanted, just bugging them. Then I noticed that people nowadays are so full of themselves that these type of small things or people just actually bug them by just being where t...
